Description
Since 25 years Dietmar Heubner is building traditional guitars with modern sound aesthetics. These instruments have a very warm sound and offer the guitar player plenty possibilities to express in a huge variety of timbres and dynamics. Dietmar started out as a cabinet maker, but soon after started building guitars in England. He gathered experiences and developed ideas by building violins.
This guitar was finished by Dietmar in August 2015 and has a hazel spruce top. Finest Indian rosewood was chosen for back and sides. As a special feature the neck was reinforced internally with an additional wooden bar. The fretboard is modestly elevated to improve the playability of higher notes. The rosette is decorated with celtic ornaments that are also found on the 12 tie block. The quality machine tuners are made by Scheller.
