Description

Miguel Malo Martinez was born in Madrid in 1943. In 1959, at the age of 16, he began in José Ramirez workshop as an apprentice. He learned under Paulino Bernabé and Mariano Tezanos Sr. and also worked with Ramirez veterans like Antonio Martinez Ortega and Alfonso De Benito. His guitars were stamped inside with M.M. and later with #1 M. Overall Malo worked 34 years at Ramirez and opened in 1993 a his own workshop. This guitar has like most flamenco guitars a cedar top, sides and back are made of cypress. This is a very special guitar with a very bright, silvery and dry tone. The guitar has a very well repaired crack on the top. A Ramirez Hiscox Pro II case is included.
