Since 2003 I have been occupied with the construction of guitars and acustic plucked instruments. After three years of instruction at Mittenwald luthier school in Germany I worked for the master luthier Lorenzo Frignani in Modena (Italy) from 2006 to 2009. There I gained in experience in the construction of new guitars and in the restoration and conservation of old plucked instruments and I acquired many interesting and helpful working methods. From then on I got more and more interested in the preservation of antique guitars.
To learn more about new techniques and procedures of restoration I visited Mr. Bernd Kresse’s workshop in Cologne (Germany) for half a year. Bernd Kresse, luthier and restorer, generously shared his vast knowledge with me. Since 2010 I’ve started up my own business and work together with Mr. Frignani in Modena. Furthermore I run a small workshop at Coburg (Germany).
