Solveig Kirschner - 2021

Solveig Kirschner - 2021

Overview

Solveig attended the National School of Musical Instrument Making in Mittenwald and now lives in Niedenstein, where she runs a joint workshop with her husband Andreas. She builds only four to five guitars per year. With the highest dedication as well as precision, Solveig creates breathtakingly beautiful instruments. Her guitars are traditionally built, very light, and impressively powerful. Typical for her instruments is the charming and elegant sound of the trebles, which in combination with perfect balance and long sustain combine to create a wonderfully singing guitar.

This beautiful guitar, built in 2021, has just left Solveig's workshop, and it already sounds very open and rich. The sonority that comes out of this traditionally crafted guitar is simply breathtaking. Of course, it's not all about tonal power, but even in the quietest sections, this guitar still sounds full and velvety; a hallmark of Solveig's guitars. In addition, the playability is fantastic, and the quality of the tone makes it an inspiring guitar that meets all the requirements of a first-class instrument.

  • Classical Guitars

The classical guitar, with its soft nylon strings and characteristic timbre, has become a symbol of chamber music, Spanish tradition, and concert repertoire. Its modern form was shaped by Antonio de Torres in the 19th century, setting the standard for the body, fan bracing, and the 65-centimeter scale length that are still used today. Instruments in this category open up a rich palette from the refined Romantic miniatures of Tárrega to the majestic concertos of Rodrigo. Here you will find guitars that preserve historical continuity and at the same time inspire new interpretations.
