Rather than freely reinterpreting these models, Braun approaches their construction concepts and tonal ideals through close observation and disciplined craftsmanship.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout the guitar\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eBraun’s “2012 Romanillos” model grew out of his extensive research into José Romanillos’ work and his examination of several original instruments. Conceived as a homage rather than a superficial stylistic reference, it carries characteristic Romanillos-inspired details in its rosette and headstock, while this 2026 example gains a particularly distinctive visual identity from its unusual satinwood back and sides. Against the spruce top, the satinwood brings an elegant luminosity and finely figured character that makes the instrument immediately recognisable.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eMusically, one of its strongest qualities is the remarkable consistency of the tone. Notes retain their character and sustain across different strings and positions, giving melodic lines an unusual continuity as they move around the fingerboard. At the same time, the sound remains highly transparent: individual voices separate cleanly, small changes of articulation are clearly exposed, and inner lines can be brought forward without disturbing the surrounding texture. The guitar also offers a broad palette of colour, responding distinctly as the right hand moves through different positions.
