Carrillo received a Regional Craftsmanship Award in 2009 and a National Award in 2010. His instruments have been played by musicians including Paco de Lucía, Tomatito, Cañizares, El Niño Josele, Rafael Cañizares, Javier Limón, Keith Richards and Josemi Carmona.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003ch3\u003eAbout the guitar\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eThe Gabriela II is Vicente Carrillo’s modern double-top concert model, conceived around immediacy, balance and an effortless release of sound. In this 63 cm cedar version, its voice is especially warm, rounded and supple. Notes speak almost instantly and reach full presence with very little input from the right hand, while the attack remains soft rather than sharp. The result is a generous, highly responsive sound that opens readily under a light touch and gives melodic lines a smooth, singing character.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\r\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003eThis ease of response becomes particularly valuable in technically demanding repertoire.
