Featuring a cedar soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides, the instrument is built with Zucali's distinctive six-fan bracing system, a personal interpretation of traditional soundboard construction. The elegant matte finish enhances the natural beauty of the selected tonewoods, while the understated rosette, with its clean lines and subtle decorative details, contributes to an exceptionally harmonious appearance. A smoothly integrated armrest follows the contours of the body without disturbing its elegant silhouette, providing additional playing comfort while maintaining a seamless aesthetic. The guitar is also equipped with a cutaway and a pickup system by Udo Rösner Acoustics, extending its versatility for a wide range of musical applications. With its comfortable 640 mm scale length, the Shiva brings together refined classical guitar construction and the practical qualities of a modern crossover instrument.

Tonally, the Shiva is distinguished by its beautifully rounded, warm, and slightly dark character, offering a remarkably smooth and cohesive musical voice. Its response is exceptionally immediate and effortless, allowing notes to emerge freely with even the lightest touch. Particularly captivating is the abundance of soft, delicate overtones that enrich the sound without introducing excessive brightness or harshness. These subtle harmonic colors create a wonderfully soothing and intimate tonal atmosphere, giving the instrument an almost meditative quality. The sustain is equally impressive, with notes resonating for a considerable time and maintaining a remarkable consistency throughout their decay. Melodic passages unfold naturally, while chords develop a rich and harmonious texture in which the individual voices blend beautifully. The combination of deep tonal warmth, exceptional responsiveness, gentle overtones, and long, even sustain makes this guitar especially rewarding for expressive and nuanced playing. Together with its outstanding workmanship and elegant design, the 2026 Shiva represents a sophisticated interpretation of the modern crossover guitar, offering an appealing balance between acoustic refinement, playing comfort, and musical versatility.
