Andrés Daniel Marvi was born in 1956 and has built guitars in his workshop near Granada, Spain for about 30 years. As a child he learnt to play the guitar, and after his Abitur (A-Level, high-school diploma) he worked as a guitar teacher. He started to get interested in guitar building as well as sound production around this time. He took part in a guitar building class led by the famous luthier José Romanillos in 1984 and proved his technical talent there. In 1985 he passed his guitar building exams in Erlangen and moved to Spain two years later.
This lovely guitar is CITES free and has the back and sides made of ebony. This traditional guitar is impressively powerful and very sensitive. Its sound is mature and strong with a more than satisfying note length and a rich harmonic cloud. Its singing treble, great balance and the quality of its construction make it a powerful, charming and easy to play guitar.
