Description
Angelo Vailati belongs to the younger generation of highly qualified Italian luthiers, who have already established themselves internationally and are among the most outstanding representatives of the Italian guitar building scene. After learning from the best and acquiring knowledge under the guidance of Enrico Bottelli, José Luis Romanillos, and Daniele Chiesa, Angelo opened his own workshop in Bologna, Italy. His guitars are strongly inspired by the great masters of the guitar building tradition. The craftsmanship is precise, delicate and allows him to express his great talent in building tasteful guitars.
This wonderful 2022 Angelo Vailati guitar is love at first sight. The Ziricote back is elegantly figured, giving center stage to a thin sapwood ribbon, and the heel cap is a book-matched two-tone masterpiece. As always with Angelo Vailati, this traditionally built instrument is crafted with outstanding precision and attention to detail. It features great Alessi tuners and is fully French polished. Great playability and fantastic sound, as you will see in the video scrolling down this page, make it an ideal concert instrument.
