Description
Antonio Marín Montero was born in Granada in 1933. In 1957, he joined master Pérez’s workshop and two years later, in 1959, his father advised him to visit Eduardo Ferrer for whom he worked until opening his own workshop. Today Antonio Marin Montero is one of the most sought after Granadian guitar makers. His guitars are played in concert all around the world and they are, from our point of view, among the best Spanish guitars of our time.
This early flamenco model by Antonio Marin is in remarkably good condition for its age. Only the frets and tuners have been renewed, but the original Fustero tuners are still preserved and are included. The guitar has a very direct and immediate response combined with a wonderfully warm and sophisticated sound. It is therefore a very well preserved flamenco guitar from one of the most established and active guitar makers in Granada at an attractive price.
