Antonio Raya Ferrer was born in Granada in 1980. He learned to build guitars from his father Antonio Raya Pardo who is an internationally very well-known luthier. At the age of 16 Antonio Raya Ferrer started to work in the workshop of his father and works still there.
This elegant spruce top classical guitar has a very nice rosette with red shavings outside and little blossoms inside. The rosewood bridge is framed with mother of pearl around the tie-block. The back and the sides are made of Indian rosewood. The back has in the middle a maple strip that looks very decorative. The whole guitar is shellac French-polished. About the sound we can say that the guitar has good volume and a round sound. The machine heads are by Fustero. Hard case included.
