Description
Antonius Müller was born in 1960 in Taunus. After finishing secondary school in 1976, he began a three-year apprenticeship with Dieter Hopf under the guidance of Dragan Musulin and concluded it in 1979. After completing his military service, he returned to work for Dieter Hopf and Reinholt Seiffert, where he also met Franz Ulrich Albert. After receiving his master diploma, together with Franz Ulrich Albert he opened a workshop under the name “Albert & Müller”. Today, Antonius Müller’s double-top guitars have become highly sought after, not only among professional artists because of their sound and expressiveness and their dynamic range, and therefore the waiting time for a new guitar is 12 years.
This fantastic 2012 spruce doubletop guitar is in excellent condition. It is free of cracks and the varnish is untouched. Spruce guitars built by Antonius Müller are quite rare and we must say that this one just sounds incredible. It is astonishing how little effort one needs to put into the right hand when playing this guitar, in order to produce a room-filling tone, so that the player has the feeling to be completely surrounded by the sound of this instrument. The trebles are clear, and the separation of the voices is perfect. In addition, the balance between bass and treble is also consistently even. A really wonderful and inspiring instrument that brings a lot of satisfaction and supports the player in every respect.
