Product Description

Antonius Müller was born in 1960 in Taunus. After finishing secondary school in 1976, he began a three-year apprenticeship with Dieter Hopf under the guidance of Dragan Musulin and concluded it in 1979. After completing his military service, he returned to work for Dieter Hopf and Reinholt Seiffert, where he also met Franz Ulrich Albert. After receiving his master diploma, together with Franz Ulrich Albert he opened a workshop under the name “Albert & Müller”. Today, Antonius Müller’s double-top guitars have become highly sought after, not only among professional artists because of their sound and expressiveness and their dynamic range, and therefore the waiting time for a new guitar is 12 years.

The top of this brand-new Antonius Müller is made of dark Canadian cedar. Back and sides are made of beautifully grained Indian rosewood and sealed with a thin layer of nitrocellulose lacquer, while the top is finished with shellac. Hand engraved high-quality Scheller tuners complete the overall picture of this noble guitar.
This instrument is effortless to play for both the right and left hand and its volume is just phenomenal. The long sustain and the orchestral sympathetic resonances make it a very lyrical instrument. It easily produces a room-filling tone and convinces by a warm dark character and very good separation of the voices. In addition, the balance between bass and treble is also consistently even. A really wonderful and inspiring instrument that brings a lot of satisfaction and supports the player in every respect.
