Description
Antonius Müller was born in 1960 in Taunus, Germany. In 1976 he started to work at the workshop of Dieter Hopf where he was taught by Dragan Musulin. After his military service he started again at the workshop of Dieter Hopf where he met Franz Ulrich Albert. In 1984 both started their own workshop together under the label „Albert &Müller“. Today his guitars are very requested – the waiting list from the maker directly is now twelve years.
This Doubletop model was built by Antonius Müller in 2015. It is wearing the number VIII and is definitely one of the top guitars of Antonius. In common with all Müller’s guitars, the distinctive quality of materials, decorative details and polishing are the signs of an exceptional craftmanship. A delicate cedar top and sublime certified Brazilian rosewood back and sides give a grandiose appearance to this guitar.
This guitar is an amazing concert guitar: the sound is direct, powerful and fill the biggest concert halls. Sound wise, the guitar is offering endless possibilities. It is very responsive to any tiny movement of the player and one just have to listen to Aniello Desiderio’s pianos to be convinced of the quality of the guitar’s timbre in any situation. With its elegant appearance, fine finish and beautiful sound this guitar is an outstanding concert instrument. The tuners are made by Sheller. A hard-shell case is included.
