At HANIKA, craftsmanship is understood as custom work and sound as art. A guitar from the famous Baiersdorf manufacture is a symbol of quality and craftsmanship tradition. Since 1953, it has been the basis for the company’s success story, combined with trend-setting innovations. Master plucked instrument maker Armin Hanika took over the company from his father in 1993 and has been building classic guitars of outstanding quality ever since.
Back and sides made of high quality Santos rosewood, top made of high quality cedar. The combination of santos rosewood and cedar provide this model with good attack and rich sound. Visually appealing, the back and sides have a high-gloss finish and the cedar top has a satin finish.
The beautifully textured tonewood paired with the curved bridge made of East Indian rosewood and the rosewood-maple-palisander headstock, are the visual highlight of this guitar.
Made of solid tonewoods, this guitar is equipped with Teflon-bearing high-quality “Rubner Gold action” and bent bores. Quality features also include the cedro neck, which is locked throughout with hardwood, grenadilla fingerboard and bridge saddle made of hard bone material. The asymmetrical HANIKA fan bracing in spruce ensures the best sound and stability here.
