Description
Benaja Ismael is a German luthier that studied at the School of lutherie in Mittenwald, Germany. After completing his studies he worked in his own workshop in Vienna, Austria. The last year he lived in Murcia, Spain where he learned from luthiers like José Rodriguez and Rafa de Valeriano who had a great influence of his work.
This guitar that Benaja made in 2011 is a beautiful copy of a 2008 Daniel Friederich. The top is made of fine cedar wood and back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. The trebles sound very clear for a cedar top guitar and overall the instrument is very balanced. The basses are dark but not too dominant. It is a very beautiful guitar that has the character of a late Daniel Friederich guitar.
The tuning machines are made by Alessi. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
