Description
Christopher Dean was born in Lincoln, England in 1958 and set up his first workshop as a guitar maker in the Cotswolds in 1985. His instruments are highly regarded worldwide for their combination of aesthetic appearance and outstanding tonal qualities. As one of the leading international guitar builders, his masterpieces are played worldwide by renowned guitarists such as Eleftheria Kotzia, Tilman Hoppstock, The Eden Stell Duo and many others.
This traditionally built guitar by Christopher Dean from 2003 has a spruce top and a beautiful Indian rosewood back and sides. It offers a traditional, lyrical sound with modern attributes such as power and ideal playability. The combination of round trebles and deep, dark basses gives the guitarist a wide range of tonal possibilities to explore. Like all of Christopher’s guitars, this one is characterised by a remarkable attention to detail. In addition, this particular instrument has a comfortable scale length of 64 cm. This second-hand instrument develops a fully open sound and is in excellent condition. The varnish has been refreshed and shows only some superficial signs of playing.
