Description
The Model Espressivo is a new development and its construction was strongly inspired by basic principles of cello-making like the convex back (cello back) and a protruding neck/fingerboard (cello neck). Furthermore, the guitar has a “monitor” or sound port in its rib enabling the guitarist to have a better sound control. A lattice-braced top (cross bracing), a 12-hole bridge with a big plate of bone for optimal transfer of vibration and a zero fret for a harmonious transition and better playability are other features.
Sound: perfect response; balance in all registers; soulful and strong tone; very good sustain in big and small rooms.
Specialties: hand-carved headstock; fine silver bridge inlay (lily); snakewood body purflings with intarsia-inlays; silvered Voigt-Antique-Style mechanics with snakewood buttons.
