Description
David Jünger is a young and ambitious luthier, who specialized in the construction of archtop jazz guitars and steel-string guitars. Already during his time as a pupil, he began to occupy himself with guitar-making. Shortly after this, a period of several months followed in which he completed different practical trainings, among others with Andreas Cuntz, Stefan Hahl and Jürgen Volkert. This jazz guitar model has been specially developed for playing it with amplifier. It has a stiff top and rigid bracing to avoid acoustic feedback from the electric amplification. Back and ribs are made of maple, the top is made of fine alpine spruce. The ebony fingerboard has 24 frets and in conjunction with the cutaway and the neck transition at the 16th fret makes it easier playing in the higher registers. The “TV Jones” pickups show off the guitar on the amplifier to its best advantage. By the use of the Schaller Roller Bridge, the tuning stability is guaranteed even after using the Bigsby tremolo system. The thin nitro finish gives the instrument an elegant gloss.
