Description
This archtop guitar was built by David Jünger. It is equipped with an additional sound board and a soundpost which is usual in violin making. It transfers the vibration from the top to the sound board, leading to a louder and deeper sound. The top is made of fine alpine spruce wood, back and ribs consist of flamed maple. The ebony fingerboard has 24 frets. Together with the cutaway it enables playing in higher registers. The instrument is sealed with a honey coloured coating of nitrocellulose lacquer.
