Description
Enrique Sanfeliù was born in 1882 in Valencia. Since he was a young boy he was interested in building instruments and so he built his first small guitars. He started to study classical guitar with Manuel Loscos who was a student of Tárrega. But he was not satisfied with his choice and finally he went to Barcelona to become a luthier. He startet his apprenticeship at “Casa Estruch” but at the same time he also worked at Enrique García’s workshop. García supported Sanfeliù with passion and he was grateful for this support throughout his life. This guitar was built by his son Enrique in 1946. The top is made of spruce and has two repaired cracks. Back and sides are made of olive wood (three repaired cracks). The sound can be described as very deep and warm, the projection is very good and gives the player a very direct feedback.
