Francisco Muñoz is one of the most outstanding guitar makers of the newer Spanish generation. Based in the historic city of Granada, the hometown of many important guitar makers and a source of inspiration for guitarists for many generations, Francisco Munoz gained international recognition for his outstanding work at the 2nd International “Antonio Marin Montero” Guitar Making Competition, for which he was awarded the first prize.
This beautiful instrument from 2022 shows in all regards the well-deserved reputation of Francisco Munoz. It has the highest level of attention to detail combined with impressive craftsmanship. It is a work of art by itself, of course, accompanied by excellent acoustic properties. This fine Homenaje model has a spruce soundboard and a gorgeous straight grain Indian rosewood back and sides. The trebles feature a fast attack and bite to them, as one can find in Spanish guitar, combined with crisp and responsive basses. A true Spanish guitar from a talented young generation guitar maker.
