Description
François Leonard has been building classical guitars for almost 20 years now and lives and works in his workshop in Lorient, France. He had the opportunity to learn from many guitar builders in England and also worked in the Lakewood workshop in Germany. He received support from Dominique Field as an occasional mentor, and so it is no surprise that the aesthetics and structural concept of his guitars are strongly influenced by French masters such as Daniel Friederich and Dominique Field.
Here is the latest masterpiece by Francois. The openness of the tone and responsiveness of the soundboard is just unbelievable. The trebles are enormous with an airy well rounded, and mature character. Exploring the tone colours and dynamic range of this guitar is an absolute pleasure, and this instrument faithfully gives back to the public everything the guitarist puts in.
