Description
François Leonard has been building classical guitars for almost 20 years now and lives and works in his workshop in Lorient, France. He had the opportunity to learn from many guitar builders in England and also worked in the Lakewood workshop in Germany. He received support from Dominique Field as an occasional mentor, and so it is no surprise that the aesthetics and structural concept of his guitars are strongly influenced by French masters such as Daniel Friederich and Dominique Field.
What an elegant guitar Francois has ingeniously created once again. Slightly lighter than the previous models we have received from the Frenchman from Brittany, it combines a lattice-reinforced spruce top with a splendidly flamed maple for back and sides. This combination is fascinating, as the resulting sound is both airy and compact, light-hearted, and sophisticated, brilliant, and warm at the same time. Thanks to its bold sound volume and easy playability, it is an exceptional classical guitar.
