This Fritz Ober guitar was made in 2007. The design reminds very much of Hermann Hauser I and Antonio de Torres. The soundboard is made of bearclaw European spruce and for back and sides was used a beautiful and strong flamed maple wood. The back is decordated with a wide centre strip of snakewood – made of snakewood are also the headplate and the binding.
The sound has a lot of character – the basses are warm and have very much depth. The trebles are clear, lyrical and projecting. The guitar has a beautiful French-polish finish. The tuners with engraved side-plates are made by Rodgers. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
