Description
George Lowden is a luthier based in Downpatrick, County Down, Northern Ireland. Lowden guitars which are built by him and his family-run workshop enjoy worldwide recognition and have been played by Eric Clapton, Vince Gill, Peter Finger, Ed Sheeran, and Lee Rodgers among others.
This model from 2013 is a real pleasure to play. It has a strong, taut, and brilliant sound which evolves like a carpet, being especially perfect for folk and country flat picking and strumming. The cutaway provides comfortable use of the higher frets. Beside a little ding on the top and minor signs of usage it is in excellent overall condition. It is equipped with an L. R. Baggs Lyrics pick up, which transports the guitar’s actual voice to a live audience for a very realistic and inspiring sound. An original Hiscox case is included.
