Daniel Friederich was born on January 16th in 1932 born. At the age of 23 years he built himself a guitar, because he wanted to learn to play guitar. His first guitar was a copy of a Simplicio. When he started to built guitars his guitar teacher Christian Aubin and Robert Bouchet had a great influece of his work and Friederich developed their ideas further. For decades now, Friederich is one of the most important luthier from France (Paris) and his guitars are played all over the world. Early in his career as a guitar maker, he built some guitar with spruce top, but this changed in the 1970s and he finally devoted himself mainly guitars with cedar top. This guitar has a spruce top and was built in 1972. Back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. It has no cracks and it in overall good condition but has of course some signs of usage. The machine heads are by Fustero.
