Description
Ivan Bruna is an Italian luthier with outstanding skills and great talent. He learned the subtleties of the craft from the great Italian master Enrico Bottelli and creates guitars whose aesthetics are deeply rooted in the Italian tradition. Thus he blends precise craftsmanship with an ingenious combination of woods, shapes and colours. Ivan Bruna focuses on three essential aspects when building a guitar: easy playability, reliability and tonal versatility.
This beautiful instrument, built in 2017, has a typical Italian design. Ivan Bruna’s guitars follow a precise guideline in their appearance, but all of them have unique characteristics. This one has a very interesting Indian rosewood back, with two eyes in the wood giving it a special charm. As always the intricate rosette resembles the outer motif of the label and vice versa. The previous owner of this traditionally built guitar has had the shellac refreshed, as he played regularly and enjoyed it, so it is in very good condition.
The guitars of Ivan Bruna are also known for their fascinating sound characteristics. This one has a very open, warm, and powerful sound. The balance of tones, especially on the first string, gives it a character that is both bold and mature. In addition, the rich and yet smooth basses have a sonorous and yet fine timbre. This excellent guitar in a reasonable price range is sold with a strong, used black hard-shell case in good condition.
