Description
Jakob Poljakoff lives and works in Berlin and is one of Europe’s aspiring guitar makers. His guitars distinguish themselves by technical quality on a high level and by their sound quality. This Small Jumbo Model is a beauty with timeless elegance. The head is arched – one of Jakob’s features. The finger board is raised to facilitate playing on the higher frets. Furthermore, the guitar has a string-thru-bridge through which the strings are simply pulled without the need of bridge pins. Not only is the guitar perfectly accomplished on the outside. On the inside, you can see how Jakob worked with utmost care as well: Every beam, every slat is thoroughly processed and abraded. He chose Indian Rosewood for back and sides and refined it with a matt oil finish. The top is made of brightly French-polished Alpine Spruce. The instrument has minor signs of playing on the top. It is equipped with Schaller Grandtune tuners, which work very precisely. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
