Description
This double top guitar built by Czech luthier Jan Schneider is a fantastic instrument in its price range. Built with the aim of offering the highest level of playing comfort and providing pleasure for the audience, this guitar is designed to be a reliable, powerful, and comfortable concert instrument. The double-top soundboard, which uses neither carbon nor Nomex, is created by milling the first layer of cedar to reduce weight and then doubling it with a second, thinner piece of cedar to create a resonant and resistant soundboard. This particularly lightweight construction, combined with an overall lightweight wood selection, makes for a very responsive, powerful, and spontaneous instrument. For playing comfort, Jan Schneider opted for a raised fingerboard as well as an ergonomic fingerboard radius, a satin-finished neck, and an armrest. Sound-wise, this guitar stands out for its seemingly endless sustain, impressive volume and warm tone.
