Description
Jesús de Jiménez is one of the great flamenca guitar makers of Andalucia. Being born in 1973 in a musician family, he was influenced by his grandfather as a child, a recognised guitar player of that times. He started building guitars in his twenties and opened his personal workshop in the small town of Gilena (in between Granada and Sevilla) just a few years later. Since then, he had a lot of success for his strong personality guitars. He learned a lot of his collaboration with the two famous flamenco artists Nino de Pura and Manolo Franco who are currently playing on his instruments.
The top is made of German spruce and back/sides are made of beautiful best quality Spanish cypress. The very accentuated flamenco sound has great volume and is very powerful. The trebles are very clear and brilliant while being very balanced between basses and trebles. The tuners are made by Fustero. A hard-shell case is included. This guitar is Cites-free (CF).
