Description
Jochen Röthel is a well known luthier from Germany. He began very early to built at the workshop of Martin Seeliger (Lakewood Guitars). At the “Staatliche Geigenbauschule Mittenwald” he awared the “Meisterbrief” in lutherie. This is the first guitar we have from Jochen Röthel and we have to say that it’s a unique guitar. The craftsmanship is perfect. Only the best woods were used like Madagascar Rosewood for back and sides and very fine cedar for the top. The sound is warm, deep and very consistant – the trebles have a lot of sustain. The guitar has a beautiful French polish finish and the machine heads are by Sloane. The guitar has some minor signs on the back, sides and the top. Overall condition is very good.
