Description
José González López was born in Órgiva (Granada) in 1961. At the age of 28 José started his guitar-making apprenticeship in Antonio Marin Montero’s and José Marin Plazuelo’s workshop. During his close collaboration with the two great guitar builders he created his first classical guitars, which bear the unmistakable character of this school today. The instruments of Jose Gonzalez Lopez sound powerful and very dynamic with a quick response.
This gorgeous ebony back and sides guitar is actually very lightweight. It has a responsive sound and an interesting coppery tone in the basses. As always with José Gonzalez Lopez’s guitars, it is very well built, and the neck is particularly easy to play. It is very open for a new instrument, which is certainly a sign of great potential for the coming years. This guitar is Cites free.
