Description
José Marin Plazuelo was born in Granada in 1960. He’s the nephew and student of Antonio Marin Montero. In 1974 he began, as also did his cousin Francisco Santiago Marin before him, an apprenticeship with his uncle. Under the guidance of his uncle José became an accomplished luthier. Although he builds guitars since many years under his own name he continues to share the workshop with his uncle. The top is made of beautiful spruce and back and sides are made of Ziricote. José’s guitars are built in pure handwork and traditional techniques. The sound of his guitars is characterized by strong basses and rounded brilliant trebles. The guitar is very comfortable to play. This guitar was finished in July 2017. The guitar has a beautiful french polish finish.
