Description

Josep Farré Gonzalez was born in Barcelona in 1928. He started his career as a cabinet-maker, and began to build guitars in 1954. In 1956, he went to work at the Juan Estruch guitar factory in Barcelona where he stayed until 1974. After that, he worked at the Tauras guitar factory, where he became the shop foreman. In 1975, he struck out on his own and set up is own workshop in Calle San Felix, Vilafranca del Penedès near Barcelona.
In addition to his guitars that were mostly made in Ramirez style. He was influenced by Ignacio Fleta, who he undoubted knew.
This is a Ramirez style terz guitar with 560 mm scale, and 50 mm nut width, Indian Rosewood back and sides and cedar top, usually tuned 3 steps up to a standard G tuning. An amazing sounding guitar of very high quality. The guitar is in very good condition and has only some minimal marks. The guitar comes with a hard-shell case.
