Description
Since 1991 Juan Manuel García Fernández builds guitars in Granada. He studied under the master guitar makers Miguel Carmona, Jesús López, Manuel López Bellido and Rafael Moreno. In 2003 he has his workshop in the centre of Granada. His instruments are very easy to play, have a sweet sound and are very balanced.
The spruce top of this Juan Pagés 1792 copy is more than 450 years old. When one plucks on the strings of the instrument and hears the sensation of the 450 year old wood vibrating, one feels reverence of the history. Delicate and sweet comes to mind regarding the tone, a highly responsive and easy to play guitar in every remark. The build quality is excellent with a lot of elaborate design, like the beautiful hand carved bridge. Aromatic smell of cypress arise from the sound hole when playing and lingers in the room. A hard-shell case is included.
