Description
Karl-Heinz Römmich was born in 1953 and has built guitars for over 40 years. His instruments are very sought after for the deepness and complexity of tone. Built following the Spanish tradition, Römmich guitars are made with the finest woods, dried over four decades, are entirely hand-made, and french polished. Prominent guitarists such as Artyom Dervoed, Marcin Dylla, Hans-Werner Huppertz, Łukasz Kuropaczewski, Thu Le,Thomas Offermann, Pavel Steidl, Marko Topchii, Roman Viazovskiy and Xue Fei Yang, just to name a few, played on Römmich guitars.
This very fine spruce/Indian rosewood guitar is a real gem. The thickness and lyricism of the trebles are outstanding, and this instrument’s responsiveness recalls the openness of the Madrilenian guitar’s sound. The sustain in the high register is impressive, and the notes develop an exceptional harmonic density. Moreover, the ability of the trebles to connect and make melodies sing is fascinating. With its well-profiled neck, effortless for the left hand, and excellent volume, it is the ideal guitar for both concerts, recordings, and home practice on a world-class guitar.
