Description
Kazuo Sato is an internationally renowned luthier who apprenticed with Kuniharu Nobe in Japan from 1965 to 1971. After that period, he moved to David Rubio’s workshop in England, where he worked along with another famous luthier: Paul Fischer. In 1974 he established his own workshop in Germany. He is still based in Germany and now also works together with his son Hideo Sato.
The “Prestige” model by Kazuo Sato is the top-of-the-line model guitar next to his “Special” model. The highly figured Madagascar rosewood back and sides are absolutely wonderful and of remarkable quality. One of the first things one can notice is the excellent projection, which makes this instrument an outstanding concert guitar. Due to its rich tonal colors, warm timbre, and exceptional sensitivity, this guitar provides unlimited possibilities for guitarists to explore. Built in 2022, it only displays superficial playing marks. This guitar is a unique chance to own a Kazuo Sato “Prestige” model built in the latest year without waiting time and at a sensible price.
