Description
Kazuo Sato is an internationally well-known luthier who apprenticed with Kuniharu Nobe in Japan from 1965 to 1971. After that period he moved to David Rubio’s workshop where he worked together with other famous luthier like Paul Fischer. In 1974 he established his own workshop. This 2013 Kazuo Sato Prelude model has a Alpine Spruce top and back and sides are made of Indian rosewood. The rosette is decorated with the typical beautiful floral motivs. The design is characterized by a simple elegance. The guitar is equipped with Alessi tuners and has a French-polish finish. It responds quickly, is strong, balanced and has an equilibrated character. The instrument is wearing a few playing marks on the top, back and sides. The tuning machines are made by Alessi. A Hiscox Pro II case is included.
