Description
Kenneth Brögger was born in Hellerup, north of Copenhagen, in 1948. He apprenticed with Danish guitar maker Yngve Barslev from 1972 to 1975 and built his first guitar in 1974. He is undoubtedly the most recognised Danish luthier to date and gathered a huge experience in both guitar making and restoration over the past 45 years. In 1997 Brögger received a silver Hetsch medal at the “Kunsthandvaerkerprisen af 1879”, the highest award of the genre for applied arts of 1879. At this ceremony Brögger had the honour to be acknowledged by the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe the Second.
This beautiful 1994 guitar is in excellent condition with just a few playing-marks. It has been played professionally by its sole owner and recorded many times. It is an eminently elegant guitar with a very fine sound. One can find a very intimate access to this instrument while playing and easily reflect it in the sound.
