Description
Kim Lissarrague is a recognised Australian luthier. He began building guitars at the very early age of thirteen and is now established in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Kim makes a limited number of high-quality guitars per year and developed his own designs based on the “Australian School” of guitar making. In other words, his guitars are lattice-braced with an arched back, offering a huge projection, clarity and sustain.
This guitar built in 2013 is in absolutely pristine condition. It is built with a thinly worked cedar top and astonishing Ziricote back and sides, making it a powerful and well projecting guitar. The volume produced by this instrument is just incredible and Kim Lissarrague definitely owns his place in our top 5 of the most powerful guitars. It also shows a very rich and flexible tone with great dynamic possibilities. It is overall a fantastic concert guitar at the highest level.
