Description
Kim Lissarrague is a recognized Australian luthier. He began building guitars at the very early age of thirteen and is now established in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Kim makes a limited number of high-quality guitars per year and developed his own designs based on the “Australian School” of guitar making. In other words, his guitars are lattice-braced with an arched back, offering a huge projection, clarity, and sustain.
This 2020 lattice guitar is in excellent condition. It is crafted with an exceptionally thin and responsive cedar top and beautiful dark-grained Ziricote back and sides. The expressive power emanating from this guitar is simply amazing and this instrument by Kim Lissarrague definitely belongs in our top 5 most powerful guitars. Not only does it impress with its volume of sound, but, also with its very rich and flexible tone with great dynamic possibilities. The depth of the basses is particularly noticeable on this guitar number 347, giving it a profound and charming tonal voice.
