Description
Luca Waldner began studying classical guitar at the age of twelve under Roberto Lambo, later he began to study with Linda Calsolaro at the Conservatory of Music in Bari. He completed his last three years of his study at the Conservatory of Castelfranco Veneto under Stefano Grondona, graduating with top marks. As a student and after graduating he taught and gave concerts, but one year after graduation he started on the his journey road of guitar making. Over the years he had the opportunity to study and analyse the most famous guitars of the Spanish tradition – by Santos Hernández, Francisco Simplicio, Enrique García, Manuel Ramírez,
Vicente Arias, José Ramirez and José Romanillos, until he discovered the instruments of Antonio de Torres. Here his search ended. His own developments and thinking is being shaped by Torres’ guitars.
