Description
Lucas Martin was born in Malaga, Spain, in 1984. In 2002 he started to build his first guitar under the guidance of his father, the renowned luthier Bernd Martin. Part of the Granadinian school of guitar making, father and son’s instruments have a powerful Spanish voice with a recognizable colorful timbre. For more than fifteen years, Lucas Martin has dedicated himself to constructing first-quality classical and flamenco guitars in his Sacromonte workshop.
This guitar number “96” model “Concierto Madagascar” is a wonder of sustain, tone colors, and sympathetic resonances. Very delicate and gracefully intimate, it develops a profoundly charming and rich tone. The overall balance is striking, and the guitar’s elegant character gives room for the guitarist to express music with refinement and precision.
