Description
This guitar was built by Martin Bretscher in 2007 on the occasion of his Master examination. The Master examination, “Meister” in German, is a very important step in a luthier’s career and a real achievement. This ten-string guitar is showing incredible technical, aesthetic and acoustic qualities.
It has a fine spruce top with a reinforced fan bracing, designed to handle the 10 strings’ tension and to simultaneously allow a great freedom in the top’s vibration. The trebles are brilliant and crystal-clear, perfectly contrasting with the massive, voluminous basses. It is a very interesting instrument for an adventurous six strings player in need for challenge or an accomplished 10-strings player looking for a top-quality instrument. A hard-shell case is included.
