Description
This refined guitar was built by Martin Jacob, Richard Jacob “Weissgerber” ‘s son, in the 1960s. Martin worked many years along with his father in the “Weissgerber” workshop where he acquired very accurate workmanship skills as well as a great understanding of the wood’s tone properties. This guitar has an outstandingly clear tone, crystal trebles and a pure separation of voices. Moreover, it is in very good condition as it only has one small repaired crack on the side and a short one at the extremity of the top, just on the place where the player’s arm rests. It is a truly subtle guitar that has a lot of tone colours to offer, as well as a rich historical background.
