Description
Masaki Sakurai, nephew of the great Japanese luthier Masaru Kohno, was born in 1944. He studied at the electronics department of Sophia University, and after graduating in 1967 he entered “Kohno Guitar Manufacturing”. In 1988 he won the first prize in the fourth Paris International Guitar Luthiers Competition.
This gorgeous Concert-J model built in 2009 is in perfect condition. It has a great volume, perfect playability and beautiful balance. This instrument is both sensitive and stable, reacting with subtlety and consistency to the player’s stroke. A hard-shell case is included.
