Description
Maksim Cuker is a Lithuania-based luthier and former professional guitarist. From his workshop, located in Vilnius, Max builds modern double-top guitars with a unique look and award-winning tone.
This unique and colorful guitar comes straight from Max’s workshop and is a true eye-catcher. With Amaranth back and sides, elevated fingerboard, spruce/cedar double top yet a traditional Daniel Friederich-like fan bracing, an extra sound port on the side, asymmetric head, and rounded bridge, this guitar offers many unique features that make it a very fascinating instrument. We particularly love the bear claw spruce top, which gives it a very traditional aesthetic, combined with a vibrant blue/violet-colored rosette that stands out.
This guitar is pretty powerful, with an excellent equilibrium of sustain and volume. The tone is relatively bright, with a glassy touch that offers notable tone separation.
