Description
Nicolaus Wollf started making guitars in 1966. He made his apprenticeship under the master guitar maker Ernest Köröskeny and after that he studied under the master guitar maker Dieter Hopf where he worked also from 1991 to 1994. In the same year when he left the Hopf workshop he opened his own in Oberneisen and afther five years he moved to Niederbrechen, Germany. The bass is deep and resonant (air resonance around F#) and the treble is open and singing. About the playability we can say that is is very comfortable to play. It is a lovely guitar with spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. The tuning machines are made by Klaus Scheller. A hardshell case is included.
