Description
Nils Schebesta is a talented young guitar maker who started his apprenticeship as a luthier ten years ago. After finishing his apprenticeship, he studied guitar making in Markneukirchen and refined his skills during various internships and workshops. Before he moved into his workshop in Leipzig at the beginning of 2019, he worked for a violin maker for several years. From his workshop, he builds instruments inspired by both the German and French tradition.
As typical of Nils Schebesta’s guitars, this instrument is lightweight, responsive, colorful in sound, and distinctly comfortable to play. With this classic combination of cedar and Indian rosewood, Nils has built a guitar that excels in both sustain and projection while offering an interesting and multi-faceted warm tone. With its raised fingerboard, handmade narrow rosette, and excellent french polish, this modern guitar also has all the features of a great concert instrument.
